It’s interesting. I have work experience in pharma (sales & marketing)and am applying to 4 of the schools on your list. There’s a big difference though; I’m applying from Iran.
But, why Stern? Why not Wharton while we are talking about healthcare? just curious to know.
email me if you could. I’d be happy to get in touch.

I just started reading your blogs and they are really wonderful. I’m only applying to FEMBA programs in Southern CA, but I totally relate to all your posts. I also do races here and there, and I’m totally amazed how you’re able to fit time in for everything. I’m constantly overwhelmed with training, applications and life in general.

    Good luck with everything!!

    Kind Regards,

i was curious why you chose to apply for the r2 HBS deadline vs. r1? best of luck with your applications. it sounds like you are in a good spot with your applications.

R2 only because I’m not sure about HBS yet and I didn’t want to overload my recommenders. The Fall is our busy season, so I feel its already asking a lot to do 4 during this time.

    Hi there,

    Enjoy you vacation!

I applied to schools this time around, but did not make it yet. I plan to reapply this year and Kellogg is again my top choice. I was wondering if you would be able to help me out. If it works for you, please let me know an alternate id and we can talk from there.

Hi, I noticed that you are a marathon runner. I am currently training for my first marathon and working on R1 apps at the same time. Talk about being busy! 🙂 I was wondering if you talked about marathon running in any of your essays. I know you are supposed to aim to set yourself apart in essays and show what makes you unique. Running a marathon will be a huge accomplishment to me, but it seems like a lot of people are running marathons these days. I’m wondering if I would be better off talking about something else (ie – some of my community service work?) to help differentiate myself from other candidates.

If you could send me an email, I would really appreciate it!

I realize you probably don’t check this blog anymore as the last entry was in April, but I just wanted to say thank you for all the information you put on here. The way you tracked your progress and gave intimate thoughts as to what was happening with the progress of your graduate applications and your job helps me in my drive for the MBA. Thanks for keeping this up and I wish you the best at Kellogg!
